by Marie Kauna – EMTV Online, Port Moresby

As technology advances, many business houses, organisations and even individuals have transformed into using websites to go about creating advertisements and promotions.

While many fear Internet use brings about many social problems, Divine Word University has seen an important achievement with the use of its website online.

As part of its advertisement medium into making available its courses at the university, they have also advertised their Master of Public Administration program and the Master of Research Methodology program amongst the many courses on its website.

Based on this advertisement online, many have applied and amongst the many, two foreign students have succeeded with their application for these Masters programs.

The two students are Zainab Olabisi Tairu from Nigeria and Liam Sua, a Solomon Island student. Both learnt about the university and its programs online through the website.

Tairu was accepted for the Master of Research Methodology program while Liam was accepted for the Master of Public Administration program and is studying through the flexible learning mode.

Both foreign students are happy to know about this University in Papua New Guinea, and the opportunity they had to successfully be part of the University’s Masters programs.
