AFL Port Moresby School Competition to Begin

The Port Moresby AFL school competition is set to begin with the under 17 division starting on Friday, March 27 and the under 12, 13 and 15 boys divisions and under 15 girls to commence on Saturday March 28, at the Murray Barracks oval. 

Schools in Port Moresby have also been given till Saturday to affiliate to the competition.

The competition will include the under 12, under 13 and under 15 boys divisions; and the under 15 girls. Secondary school students will take part in the under 17 boys and girls division.The secondary school competition will be held on Fridays, due to an increase in primary schools entering the competition.

St Joseph Catholic International School, Port Moresby International School and other IEA schools have shown interest in taking part in the under 15 and 17 boys divisions, and will also be involved in the NiuKick program.

Schools who have yet to register are to call the AFLPNG office before the 28th of March.
