Miss PNG Air Services Limited, Mary Konobo Jr, is among the top six finalists for the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant.
She will be contesting with other Papua New Guineans in the coming quest that will be held on the 14th of this month at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Port Moresby.
Konobo aspires to be an ambassador for change. Her vision is to promote environment conservation, human self-development and empower women, girls including men.
This is the second year PNG Air Services Limited has sponsored a contestant for the pageant.
PNG Air Services Limited Managing Director, Captain Ted Pakii, said the company was pleased to support such worthy cause.
The Miss Pacific Islands Pageant PNG Committee has raised over K400,000 for its scholarship fund and has assisted young girls all around PNG.
