Over 100 traffic recruits fromthe Bemana Police College were out in numbers today doingtheir practical test.
The new trainees were supervised by instructors fromthe Beroko Traffic Office, to maintain traffic users abide by laws andthe safe travelling bythe public.
After 6 months of intensivetheory training, it was time for hands-on-job for these aspiring officers.
The new recruits madetheir way intothe busy traffic outfit of Port Moresby to fulfilltheir course requirements.
They engaged withthe public traffic and carrlied outtheir duties.
Commander Hasu saysthe recruits will cater for the ratio of vehicles andthe low traffic man-power.
He saysthe practical part ofthe program isthe engagement ofthe trainees with motorists.
Meanwhile, most drivers called on MVIL for the fast tracking of license registration.
These batches of trainees are aiming to pass-out comes December.
