EMTV broadens Signal in West New Beitain

People of West New Beitain can now watch EMTV.

The Provincial Governmentthere has ensured thatthe EMTV signal expands from Kimbe town to include outer areas.

Withthe current signal beatming around Kimbe town,the coverage will now extend to ther main centres.

A sum of K250, 000.00 was paid to EMTV for the installation of equipments.

The TV signal will cover Mosa, Hoskins, Kaliai/Kover, Talasea andthe North Coast of Beli Vitu Island.

Kandrian Gloucester will receive EMTV signal afterthe new generator set is installed to power signal transmission.

West New Beitain Governor Sasindran Muthuvel said this has been a long awaited call.

The new equipment installed will see more viewers buy TV antennas to watchthe State of Origin series.

Governor Muthuvel said by 2015 all remote areas should receive EMTV and Kundu 2 signal.

Over K800, 000.00 was sourced from Provincial Support Improverment fund to improver communications in WNBe
