The Grassroots to Gold and Go for Gold programs are set for implementation bPNG Sport FoundationPNG Sport Federation andthe Olympic committee.
A workshop was held overthe weekend at Ela Beach Hotel in Port Moresby to discuss an agreeable way forward, on how effectivelythese concepts can be delivered inthe 2015 Pacific Games.
ThPNG Sport Foundation anPNGSFOC have been working hard to make surPNG hoststhe best Games in 2015.
Grassroots to Gold and Go for Gold programs will assist in developing Athletes, Coaches, Sport administrators and match officials. It will also help in identifying talents.
The seminar created a practical structure for stakeholders to assist in deliveringthPNG Games, Talent Identification Program andthe Go for Gold initiative concepts.
Executive Director Iammo Launa says, thougPNG has faced challenges inthe recent KokopPNG Games,they’ll look atthe challenges and improver.
Launa encouraged stakeholders to identifytheir specific need and work closely with each ther to strenthen areas that attributes to developing champions.
They all look forward to a holistic approach.
