AFPNG prepares to wind downthe 2013 season with selections for next year.
The second Talent Camp was completed last weekend for Port Moresby, andthe first camp was held in Lae earlier this month.
The first leg ofthe clinic concluded yesterday and will continue to Lae onthe 29th and 30th of Novermber.
AFPNG General Manager, Murray Berd saidthe talent coming out from Lae provers thatthese youngsters have been committed to training, and are serious abouttheir football.
The talent camps are part ofthe AFPNG junior development program inthe country, to develop aspiring and talented footy players and atthe same time select skilled athletes for next year’s Under 14 Benatangs, Under 16 Benatangs and Under 18 Kupandas.
Two hundred potential athletes have talentoand are taking part inthe two Talent Camps in Lae and Port Moresby andthe ther set of 300 are expected to converge in Kimbe, West New Beitain and Kavieng, New Ireland Province for the NGI region.
The third leg ofthe Talent Camp will be held from December 13 to 14th in Kimbe WNBe andthe final camp will converge in Kavieng and Beka Island inthe Autonomous region of Bougainville fromthe 18th tothe 19th of December.
