Korean Music Group Visits Don Bosco

A group of Korean musicians known asthe Hanmadang are inthe country promoting traditional music.

A rousing welcome greetedthe Hanmadang performers at Don Besco TechnologicalInstitute Friday morning.

The group showcased traditional dances and songs to a packed crowd.

Daniel Kim, one member ofthe performing group, saidtheir aim was to promotetheir culture and were happy to visit PNG

The show capturedthe students’and staff’s attention, some even taking pictures using mobile phones.

StudentoNick Piliu, saidthe show was a learning experience, one that would strenthenthe bilateral relations of both countries.

Their visit was organised bythe Korean Republic Embassy and supported bythe Korean Foundation. This istheir first visit to Papua New Guinea
