The biggest triathlon event in Wewak,the Sepik Ironman is set to kick off early next month.
The event has attracted thirty teams for prize money of ten thousand kina. This isthe tenth year for the event to be staged.
The annual Sepik Ironman event aims to promote Sport and tourism inthe province.
The one day event involves youth from withinthe province and it is anticipated to be anther big occasion.
The event has attracted a team from Tabubil, Manus andthe National Capital District. Teams are gearing up for the event and are onthe lookout for the visiting team.
Registration is K500 and interested teams are encouraged to register beforethe end of this month. The committees are hard at work to makethe event a success.
