Telefomin Students urged to work harder

Member for Telefomin Solan Mirisim has made his part by making education top priority to developthe human resource.

He recently visited parts ofthe Highlands and Momase regions to pay tuition fees for tertiary students’from Telefomin.

Mr Mirisim said as part ofthe ONeill – Dion government’s priority on education, he has funded tuition fees for tertiary institutions underthe Education Sector component.

The break-up ofthe fees include all schools in Mt Hagen where over K100, 000 was paid. Goroka’s University and Technical School both received over K54, 000.  Lae’s University got K50, 000 while its Polytech School and Belob TeachersCollege K50, 000. Four private schools benefited with K22, 000.
