Port Moresby Nature Park received PMV bus and a van courtesy of NCDC, Ela Motors and Esso Highlands.
The vehicles will be used to supportthe park’s school excursion program inthe city.
The park has seen an increase inthe number of guest and visitors. It has also become a learning laboratory for schools inthe city.
The decorated 25 seater bus will supportthe parks school excursion program “Come Explore with Us”.
The bus will transport school groups to and frothe park.
Park’s General Manager Michelle McGeorge saidthe park is focused on educating school children abouPNG’s biodiversity.
McGeorge expressed thatthe small van will be used for the park’s operations including transportation of tourist tothe park.
CommunityInvestment officer for Esso Highlands Shabaka Gibso saidthe company aims to support education in PNG and for students’to learn and understanPNG’s flora and fauna.
Meanwhile, a new carpark, café, ticketing and a walk through wallaby cage is under construction to meet demand and improverthe park’s outlook.
