Up to 40 teams are taking part inthe NCDFA Youth Tournament which kicked off yesterday.
The in-house tournament started withthe Under 15 Girls, with K800 up for grabs for the winning team.

This youth tournament is timely as it coincides withthe school holidays giving more youthsthe opportunity to participate.
Tournament co-coordinator Max Foster saysthe skill displayed by youths participating is promising and more local talent should be expected from this tournament.
The tournament has given many under-privileged children and youthsthe opportunity to take part in soccer.
President Vonnie Kapi-natto is urging NSL teams to go along and scout talent.
This isthe first of its kind, but organizers saythey plan to makethe tournament an annual event as an initiative to encourage young people to turn away from bad habits and take upthe sport of soccer.
