POMSA gets K25, 000 support from NCDC

The Port Moresby Soccer Association received twenty five thousand kina fromthe National Capital District Commission.

The money was presented by NCD Governor Powes Parkop to President of Port Moresby Soccer Association John Wesley Gonjuan.

The financial support will helpthe under-20 squad.

Governor Parkop’saidthere is potential of sports people outthere that needs to be tapped.

President John Wesley Gonjuan saidthe support is timely.

Sport and Pacific Games Minister Justin Tkatchenko was also present and pledged a sum of K50, 000 tothe association.

Meanwhile, discussions are underway to build a premier stadium for soccer to cater for the 2015 Games.
