Beru Correctional Service in Popondetta, Nothern Province, is one of 20 prisons inthe country.
Overthe past two years, Beru Correctional Service has experienced peaceful operations. This has been attributed tothe good working relations betweenthe Prison Commander and his staff.
They are now preparing for the festive period.
A warning order has been issued by Commissioner, Martin Belthasar, to Commander, Teddy Beaga, to ensure no prisoners escape duringthe festive period.
Commander Beaga assuredthe commissioner thatthey will maintain this good record.
