The Lae University of Technology’s SRC president has reacted angrily to a government response stating thatthe Dr. Albert Scrham was terminated as Vice Chancellor.
Livingstone Hosea saysthere are no documents to prover that Dr. Schram has been officially terminated as Vice Chancellor.
He went futher to state that Dr. Scham is still being paid by UNITECH and that he hasthe minutes of meeting that sat to reappoint Dr. Schram.
Hosea was responding to a letter fromthe Chief Secretary, Manasupe Zurenuoc that conveyedthe Prime Minister’s responses to concerns raised bythe UNITECH student’s representative Council.
Dr. Schram was not allowed to enterthe country on grounds that he didn’trsquo;t havethe appropriate documents. Dr. Schram meanwhile says he has not been given an official explanation.
