New Deputy Morobe Governor: Limited Funds for LLG’s

The president of Jabim-Mape LLG Judas Nalau has been voted unopposed as Deputy Governor for Morobe.

 

Mr Nalau has also been appointed asthe ProvincialLands chairman to address Morobe Provinces on-going land issues.

The Newly elected Deputy Morobe Governor says that he would like to see more money being distributed intothe Local Level government.

 

“There isn’t enough money going intothe LLG’s…we need more money onthe ground,” he said.
 

He raised this concern after 26 LLG Presidents failed to winthe recent Local Level Government elections. He claimsthere weren’t enough funds.

 

Judas Nalau isthe son of Former Premier, Sir Jerry Nalau. 

 

Mr Nalau was nominated and voted asthe new Deputy Governor Today atthe swearing in ofthe Local Level Government Presidents.
