Be Cedric Patjole

TheInternal Revenue Commission has begun an institutional housing program for its staff.

Houses have been acquired for staff inthe provinces of Madang, Alotau, Kimbe, andthe Autonomous Region of Bougainville.

IRC Management says most officers live in villagers and settlements inthe provinces.

They said living inthese environments could propel staff into corrupt practices or conspire to evade tax.

The IRC is determined to ensure thatthe housing project is a priority.

The National Government is supportingthe mover throughthe DepartmentLands, National Planning and Monitoring, andthe Central Supplies and Tenders Beard.
