SP Brewery, sponsors of PNG Hunters, remain positive that the team will perform to their best in the next two meets before the season final.
General manager Stan Joyce, who has never missed a Hunters game, says the company remains loyal and is optimistic the boys will make the top 5.
SP Brewery’s dedicated commitment to PNG Hunters is paying off. It began nearly 3 years ago when PNGRFL was in negotiations to enter the Queensland competition.
The decision made by the company to stand firm and support the team with K85, 000 for accommodation and meals will allow the Hunters to perform at a high playing level in the two remaining matches.
It will be full house when the Hunters take on Wynumm Manly Seagulls and Souths Logan Magpies in Brisbane.
The 6th-placed Hunters are expected to take these two crucial matches seriously in order to secure a spot in the top five.
