Gaulim College: New Development

Gaulim teachers college in East New Britain Province has finally opened its new administration building after forty five years of establishment.

A historic achievement for the college, this is but the first of many more changes that will take place in the college.

It was a very big achievement for the collage considering its slowing deteriorating buildings, the Gaulim Teachers Collage in East New Britain province is slowing seeing improvements.

The college recently opened its new administration building called the “ma Bob Beevers av ‘a’ tki or the Bob Beevers building.

Principal of Gaulim Teachers Collage, Siegeru Woda told EMTV that the funding for the new administration building was donated by former principal of Gaulim teachers Collage, Bob Beever’s son, John Beevers as well as the existing Income generated by the school.

Mr Beevers donated K30,000 for the construction of the building.

The building is the first proper administration block for the college and the principal says there will be more changes.

Despite the challenges encountered by the college, Gaulim has now taken initiatives to bring about change in transforming most of the critical areas that threatens the livelihood for both staff, families and the students.
