Basil: Ratio of Police to People Must Improve

Deputy opposition leader and Bulolo MP, Sam Basil says the ratio of police to people has to be further improved.

He says ideally, Papua New Guinea should have at least 70 thousand active Police men and women to cater for the 7 million people.

He has suggested that four regional training centres be established. He said this is in light of increasing clashes between different ehnic groups in Morobe.
