Member for Bulolo, Sam Basil, has lashed out against community leaders and politicians who are opting to solve ethnic clashes using means that stop short of the formal legal system.
This follows a recent spate of clashes involving various groups in which the murders and arsonists have not yet been arrested.
Basil’s call has brought the issue of police numbers and resources under the microscope yet again.
