NCD Volleyball Organizers have taken it up on themselves to provide an opportunity for young volleyball talent to take part in town competitions.
Known as the Under 21 Volleyball Fest, the competition enables volleyball playing villages especially in the Central Province to take part in their own competition.
Teams include Taikone, Fairfax, Lealea and Lakwaharu which are volleyball associations not affiliated to the National Volleyball Federation.
The Under 21 Volleyball Fest gives an opportunity to potential village teams to showcase their volleyball talent prior to the National Under 21 Volleyball Championships.
The Under 21 Fest has both a male and a female division taking place at the Taurama Leisure Centre.
