Authorities to review PNG’s out-dated Migration Laws

The Immigration and Citizenship Authority is conducting a review into the out-dated Migration Laws of the country.

Minister for Foreign Affairs and Immigration, Rimbink Pato made the announcement this in a statement today.

He said, the current legislations of PNG are out-dated and cannot meet the people’s movement challenges of the 21st century.

Minister Pato says interested stake holders can start giving their views, before a final recommendation is made to Parliament for Cabinet’s approval next year.
