The Queenslander Maroons came out victorious, edging out the New South Wales Blues by one point in game one of the state of origin.
The Blues will be looking to level the series as they play game two in neutral territory over in Victoria at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Game one went right down to the wire which saw the more experienced Maroons hang on by one point to open state of origin 2015 with a win.
Game two will be a must win for the Blues to keep their series hope alive.
The Queenslanders will be without the experience of polished half back Cooper Cronk, but he will be replaced by the more than capable Daley Cherry Evans.
The Blues will have skipper Paul Gallen back in the team after missing game one, and the halves pairing of Pearce and Hodkinson, have been under fire since game one, and will be looking to make amends in game two of origin.
The state of origin has a huge following in Papua New Guinea with fans giving their tip to who they think will win game two of origin.
The Maroons will go into the match as favourites, but the Blues are capable of pulling off a surprise to level the series which will see a head-to-head clash for game three to be played in Queensland on the 8th of July.
