Papua New Guinea, and the United States of America, will continue to share common goals – among them the promotion of health care for its people.
These were the words of Brigadier General, William Burks, who was in the country to witness the conclusion of the Pacific Angel 2015 Exercise.
The exercise, conducted in Goroka, saw medical treatment being administered to more than 600 people.
Pacific Angel 2015 brought together medical professionals, logistics personnel, planners, and contracting specialists from several countries.
This exercise was led by the US Air Force.
Brigadier General William R. Burks was in the country to witness the conclusion of Pacific Angel 2015, and was full of praise for all those involved.
US Ambassador to PNG, Walter North, also heaped praise for those involved, adding that the Pacific Angel Exercise was another way in which the US was strengthening its ties with PNG, adding that the exercise built deeper mutual trust and cooperation between our two great countries.
