Prominent Social Media personality, Bryan Kramer, will lay criminal charges against those who were behind his arrest last year.
The Social Media and Political commentator was charged for allegedly conspiring with others to kill the then Minister for Police and Madang MP, Nixon Duban.
Yesterday, the Waigani Committal Court dismissed the conspiracy to kill charges against Kramer for lack of sufficient evidence.
It was alleged that on the 19 December 2013, Kramer, knowing that he would lose the by-election for Madang Open, gave his firearm to youths who were named as co-conspirators.
Mr. Kramer said he is not interested to sue the state, but will take to court, individuals who were behind his arrest.
Kramer, when welcoming the decision yesterday, said “innocent people let the court process confirm their innocence, while those who are guilty tend to avoid and frustrate it.”
He was making reference to people who drag the court process, by challenging decisions made by courts.
The court concluded that the evidence presented by police fell far short of being sufficient to commit the case for trial, and consequently dismissed the charges against Kramer.
