PNG Sports Foundation Launches Calendar

PNG Sports Foundation for the first launched its first Sporting Calendar for 2014.  This is an effort to drive the development of healthier and stronger athletes and development programs in both the rural and developed townships in PNG.

 

The PNG Sports Foundation Launched its 2014 Calendar today. Present at the Launching was the PNG Sports Foundation Acting Executive Director Peter Tsimalili and Board Chairman, Graham Osborne, PNG Olympic Committee Secretary General, Auvita Rapilla, the media and representatives from both the PNG Olympic Committee and PNG sports Foundation.

 

The Minister for Sports Justin Tkatchenko officially launched the 2014 PNGSF Calendar.

 

The aim of launching an official calendar is to address PNGSF’s Vision “Raise Our Games” through its seven Strategic Objectives as stated by PNGSF’s Acting Executive Director Peter Tsamalili.

 

The Minister also took this afternoon time to inspect the Aquatic center at Taurama Barracks and the Gymnasium at the Murrey Barracks.

 

Both the sites are expected to be completed by the end of April this year.
