PDL 7 landowners in the Liquefied Natural Gas project are questioning the National Government to explain why the national government is diverting their Infrastructure Development Grants.
The landowners say none of the infrastructural projects stipulated in the UBSA and LBSA agreements have been implemented.
The landowners assure their support for the LNG Project, however will cease the project if their demands are ignored
The PDL 7 landowners visited EMTV for the second time, airing concerns by giving evidence of the UBSA and LBSA agreements signed in Kokopo in 2008 and 2009.
They say processes of dispersing funds were by-passed by the national government, Hela and Southern Highlands Provincial Government.
Mr. Hamaga said under clause 6.7; item 3 in the agreement, a sum of K100 million was to be paid out and used to complete projects in areas of the condition plant.
However that has never been done.
The landowners questioned why the Government is delaying the setting up of the Economic Corridor Implementation Agency, a body responsible for the monitoring of all IDG funds and benefits to landowners.
Mr. Haroli is calling on the government and relevant authorities to convene a high level meeting and sort out this issue as the project is in its final stages to export gas.
