Boroko Offseason Rugby Washout Matches

Washout matches for Boroko Offseason Rugby League were played yesterday.

Ten teams battled it out to keep their hopes alive for the finals.

The President, Amaia David says, only the top eight teams will play in the final play offs. He went on to say he’ll do everything to ensure matches progress well.

The completion of the wash out matches will set the tone for the finals. It will also decide the fate of some of the teams hoping to make the cut.

Mr. David is confident of successfully completing this year’s season on a high.

With the reconstruction of the PRL oval, matches have been moved to the David Unagi Oval. But the relocation has not affected the competition. The Boroko Off Season Rugby League Competition has unearthed many talented league players, most of whom have gone on to play in semiprofessional rugby league competitions.
