PM In Tubusereia

Polling is drawing near for the Kairuku Hiri by-election.

The People’s Congress Party led by Prime Minister Peter O’Neill is making a hit in different communities of the electorate.

A red carpet was rolled for the prime minister and members of the PNC Party at Tubusereia village.

 

Other party members included Works minister Francis Awesa, Finance minister James Marape, Health Minister Michael Malabag, Civil Aviation Minister Steven Davis and other members of parliament.

 

Locals from the village and surrounding communities put up a grand welcome for them.

 

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of good governance and effective service delivery.

He also urged the people to vote wisely with the conscious that the electorate needed to change for the better.

 

The Kairuku Hiri electorate is just some kilometres away from the capital city, however, has lacked services such as road maintenance, schools and health centres infrastructure maintenance, law and order issues amongst others.

 

Paru Aihi made assurances that services will continue to be rolled out and the province lifted to another level.

 

Mr. O’Neill assured his candidate and the people that Central City will be developed to encompass all their grievances.

The fee free education and health policies have proven effective for the party so far.

 

The party had recently won two by elections, Ambunti Drekikir and Madang open seats.
