West New Britain Rugby Union Association, Kimbe Rebels have recently renewed their contract with Pacific MMI Insurance for the naming rights to the Provincial team, Kimbe Rebels, and the Kimbe 7’s tournament.
Pacific MMI Insurance Kimbe Rebels Rugby Union Team will be looking at a great year in their 2014 rugby union season, with the strong support of the PMMI Insurance Company. Kimbe Rebels President, Freddie Matthies said it was great to see Pacific MMI Insurance coming on board once again to support the team.
The Kimbe Rebels have been the Rugby Union 7’s champions for three consecutive years now. They have also produced great Rugby Union players in the likes of Albert Levi, who is the current winger for the PNG Pukpuks.
The Kimbe Rebels Vice President, Peter Prior, said Kimbe Rugby Union has come a long way and is doing well.
With the 2014 Rugby Union season kicking off this month, Pacific MMI Insurance Kimbe Rebels is expected to be the team to beat in the rugby union 7’s tournament.
