Tura’s First Visit to Port Moresby International School

Tura the Kokomo made its first visit to Port Moresby International School today.

The primary graders were all eager to get a glimpse of the 2015 Pacific Games official mascot, while welcoming the Games Organizing Committee to their school.

It was the first visit for Tura the Kokomo.

Vibrant and energetic students from the primary level were eager to catch a sight of the 2015 Pacific Games Official mascot.

Port Moresby International School is one of the runner ups in the mascot competition.

They were lucky to have Tura to make its first landing at their school.

School Principal Steven Rowley, acknowledged the presence of the mascot and the 2015 Pacific Games Organizing Committee.

Tura is now on the run, making its presence known while delivering the message of the games.

Games Organizing Committee Marketing and Communication, Manager Ken Siminji on behalf of Tura the Kokomo, thanked the students for having Tura visit their school.

Siminjin says Tura will be visiting other schools and public gatherings, including the independence celebration, to make aware to the people that 2015 Pacific Games is just around the corner.

With smiles on their faces, they cuddled Tura, the Kokomo.

For some students, they know that Kokomo is a cheeky bird, but Tura is friendly, as the name says it all.
