PNG Rugby Union will announce their final 25-man squad to compete in the HSBC Hong Kong 7s, an event part of the World Sevens Series Circuit.
The team will assemble this week in Port Moresby to prepare for the tournament that is set to take place from April 8-10 this year.
Although falling short of a Rio Olympic appearance, the Pukpuks are ready for the fixture under coach Douglas Guise’s guidance.
Guise, who believes securing a spot in the Hong Kong 7s tournament was well within reach, has a large task at hand – that is, to better themselves as sportsmen and generally perform well over the three days of competition.
