PNG Hunters coach, Michael Marum, was shown every courtesy by the Brisbane Bronco’straining staff during a development trip last week.
Marum was driven around by Bronco’scoach Wayne Bennett to visit the Bronco’straining facilities.
Wayne’s brother, Bob, was previously the coach of the PNG national side, and has always had a link to rugby league in the country.
Marum was pleased with the visit and observed all of the team’s training and gym sessions.
The Hunters coach said the focus for his players will be on the basics, something he noticed during the Bronco’straining session.
He said the standards are high and he hopes to bring back a few lessons for the PNG Hunters.
