K2.6 Million for Gumine’s SME Funds

Gumine MP, Nick Kuman, told an eager crowd that even though he holds a cabinet ministry he hasn’t forgotten his District.

He told the people of Gumine that the District Development Authority was created to help the MP deliver services to the people. Kuman said he hopes that the DSIP funds he is releasing will improves SMEs in the district through the Credit Guarantee Scheme.

He added that the recently launched SME policy was created in the hope to improve lives of people, and the K2.6 million released to the 45 wards of Gumine will complement the policy.

The Minister for Trade, Commerce and Industry encouraged his people to go into business. He encouraged the people to borrow and use the money wisely for its intended purpose and to never forget to repay loans.
