The SP PNG Hunters will head into round three of the Intrust Super Cup this weekend undefeated, coming off two big wins from their previous matches.
Following their impressive debut last season, the Hunters are looking to improve their performance this season.
The team filled with much young talent, will give the Hunters a much needed boost in this season’s campaign.
The SP Hunters captain, Israel Eliab said the team has started this season on a high note. And he believes that even though the team is doing well, there is still room for improvement in the coming matches.
The Hunters are yet to claim a win against East Tigers, who they play this weekend, after a loss and a draw in their encounters last season.
But with the momentum coming into this weekend’s match up, the Hunters will be a force to be reckoned with.
The SP PNG Hunters left this afternoon for Brisbane ahead of their round three clash.
