Chinese Nationals in Court for Selling Counterfeit Products

Eight Chinese nationals appeared before Judge Panuel Mogish at the Waigani National Court today in Port Moresby for selling counterfeit products.

Seven males and one female were charged with counterfeit trademarks and are out on K1,000 bail each.

Justice Mogish adjourned their matter until tomorrow morning, instructing them to bring their passports to the court for the hearing.

The eight, who can only speak Tok Pisin and Chinese Mandarin, were ordered not to leave the city.

They must also not interfere with any state eyewitness or consume alcohol.
