Over 100 Graduated with Trade Certificates from La Salle Technical School

Over One Hundred students graduated from La Salle Technical School with certificates in trade and academic courses.

More than one hundred students successfully graduated with National Certificates 1 & 2, in the different trade courses they took.

These certificates were attained, together with Academic Certificates.

Since its establishment, the school has not received support from the government.

School Principal, Brother Jeya says, the school does not receive support from the government but they are happy to provide quality education to these students.

The School continue support comes from brother La Sallean Schools, both in Australia and Papua New Guinea.

School Principal Brother Jeya thanked the various supporters for their commitment in helping the School.

As a fairly new institution, the school does not have problems with infrastructure.

However transport remains an issue, with the Principal stating the need for a school bus, to assist students to be on time for lessons.

But despite these challenges, a positive achievement was when the school successfully hosted its graduation yesterday (26 November, 2018).

Among the certificates attained were certificates in Motor Mechanics, Welding & Metal Fabrication, Office Administration, Computer studies and Tourism & Hospitality.

In addition, Academic Awards in Religious Studies, Basic Computing, Trade Mathematics and Technical English.
