Kina Bank announces Partnership with China’s UnionPay International

Kina Bank today (November 16, 2018) announced its partnership with UnionPay International, which will enable its customers to have access to ATM’s and merchant terminals.

The partnership agreement signed between Kina Bank, PNG’s fourth largest retail bank and UnionPay International, a Chinese financial service company, will allow Kina Bank customers to be able to  use their ATM’s and merchant terminals.

CEO of Kina Bank, Greg Pawson, outlined that the signing of the partnership is a strategic move to increase the capabilities of Kina Bank as a financial service.

The strategic partnership between the two financial service companies enables both companies to establish global exposure in terms of networking.

Speaking during the signing of the agreement, the Chairman of UnionPay, acknowledged the partnership between Kina Bank.

Kina Bank hopes to advance its services in partnership with UnionPay International, to include the distribution and customer accessibly of UnionPay cards in the future.

Kina Bank believes that through the partnership, the UnionPay card users in PNG will be able to have easy access to use their cards.
