The proposed nationwide strike by the Opposition has been deferred to next Friday, the 26th October.
The deferral is in response to concerns raised by parents and guardians of grades 12 and eight students who will be sitting their national examinations.
The deferral comes two days after it was announced by members of the Opposition.
