Tewai-Siassi MP invites Siassi High School’s Board to Discuss State of Dormitories

By Scott Waide – EMTV News, Lae

Siassi MP, Dr. Korbie Bomareo,  has extended  an invitation to the Board and Management of the Siassi High School to  discuss the state of the dormitories in the school.

Dr. Bomareo said the the mission school is not directly administered by the government but he is willing to assist in resolving the problem.

Last month, we ran a story on the poor state of the dormitories  at Siassi High School.

The buildings constructed in the 1970s have not been fixed.

Up to a hundred students live in each of the two dormitories. The schools ability to purchase new building materials has been hampered by high freight costs.
