Election Manager for Chimbu, Tom Sine, says that Simbu had the highest number of Form 29 (candidates bio-data) filled.
329 have registered, but the candidate nominations are slow coming.
Kundiawa- Gembolg leads the nominations with 20 candidates, including sitting member, Tobias Kulang, who has also nominated.
Gumine has 10 nominations, Karamui Nomane with 8, Chuave with 11, including sitting member, Wera Mori, submitting nomination at 2pm today.
Kerowagi currently has 7, and Sinesine Yongamugl with 7, including current sitting member, Kerenga Kua.
For the regional seat, 14 have nominated, amongst them one woman candidate and sitting Governor, Noah Kool.
Election Manager, Tome Sine, is appealing for candidates who filled in Form 29 to come forward before Thursday.
