3K set for Mini Pacific Games

Konedobu Kanu Klub aims to bacPNG Canoeing Association with many of its canoe racers to participate inthe Mini Pacific Games in Wallis and Futuna.

Konedobu Kanu Klub or 3K (triple K) asthey say is one ofthe successful canoe clubs in Port Moresby. The club is alsothe host tothe Va’a challenge which happens twice every year.

The club comprised of more than forty financial members. One ofthe main tasks now for the club is to preparethe racers for the upcoming regattas which will be hosted monthly bythPNG Canoeing Association.

With support fromthe Sport and Pacific Games Minster’s Office, all canoeing clubs have no doubt to take upthe challenge to register a team member to make up a squad for the Mini Pacific Games in Wallis and Futuna in September.

And with this support from Steamships Shipping, 3K is set to go futher on  to preparing development squad leading up tothe 2015 Pacific Games.
