Team NCD representing Port Moresby will participate in all 24 codes at this year’s PNG Games in Kimbe.
General Team Manager, Kila Dick, said his team is ready after months of trial matches and selection processes, and is finally down to the wire with only two months remaining.
With 12 weeks remaining to the 2016 PNG Games, Team NCD is ready to take on the rest of PNG, with their 24 sporting codes in their respective categories.
Individual teams representing are currently in training with their coaches while all team managers are going through negotiations with the General Team Managers and significant bodies, doing all the ground work in Port Moresby and Kimbe, to make sure the final contingent is problem-free.
Mr Kila Dick said off camera that officials and representatives for NCD, were sent to Kimbe to organise and secure accommodation and logistics for the team.
He said, with less than two months to the games, all members of the team are working hard to reach a budget of K2 million to cover all costs for the Team NCD contingent of 700.
Currently, athletes who are part of the 24 sporting codes are in training.
