Mt.Hagen Technical College managed to complete the year despite shortfall in funding from the government.
Yesterday saw a total of 230 students graduate from five different trades.
The school is urging Government to keep their promise to turn Hagen Tech into a Polytechnical College.
Those who graduated received Diploma Certificates in Automotive Mechanics, Diesel Heavy Equipment Fitting, Welding, Carpentry, Business Studies and others.
The college was recently announced to become a Poly technical college; however, it has a long way to go.
Its buildings and infrastructures are old and cannot meet the demand of becoming a polytech school.
At the 44th Graduation yesterday, School Principal, Michael Sapao, urged the government to fund more specialised buildings and equipment before the school is upgraded.
