ThPNG Sport Federation and Olympic Committee yesterday launched its biggest fundraising event ofthe year, “Trukai Fun Run”.
This year’s focus is on sending TeaPNG tothe Pacific Mini-Games in Wallis & Futuna.
Over ninety thousand Trukai fun- run t-shirts will be distributed nation-wide.
This will bethe 14th year that Trukai has backed upthe 2nd biggest social event inthe country used to raise funds to senPNG athletes to international sporting events.
The actual Fun Run will take place onthe 23rd of June in Lae, Port Moresby, Goroka, Kavieng, Kokopo and Mt Hagen.
Followingthe launch,the Polo t-shirts will be auctioned in Lae on Aprilthe 24th and Port Moresby onthe 25th.
A representative from NRL Team Cowboys will make a guest appearance atthe auctions.
More importantly,the Fun run t-shirts have overthe years carrlied social messages onthe back and this year’s message is to “stop TBein PNG
