1st Education Show staged for New Ireland

The Education Exhibition is the first of its kind in New Ireland Province that paves the way forward to raise education quality in New Ireland Province with the aim of ensuring that the outcome on academic results is equivalent to the value of funds invested on the Education sector.

Covering Kavieng, Konos in Central New Ireland and Namatanai in a weeklong awareness and showcase of different educational tertiary and vocational institutions the Expo has proven to be very beneficial in bringing vital information, insight and recruitment right down to the doorstep of the populace.

It is an avenue to analyze and identify constraints in education and find resolutions to improve academic results by creating a team cohesion approach through public private partnership.

The Expo is an initiative of the New Ireland Provincial Government implemented by the Special Services led by C.E.O Dr. Stennard Hiasiri in partnership with stakeholders and educational institutions ranging from ITI, TVET, FODE, Technical colleges and Vocational Centers including the recently established Allied Career Business & Technical College at Raulili in Namatanai.

This program is a pilot project that is proposed to be an annual program depending on the evaluation report from this pioneer expo.
