Minor premiers Snax Tigers, and defending champions Hela Wigman will have their last chance to make a finals appearance this weekend in Round 18 of rugby league’s Intercity Cup.
The chance to make the finals is not yet out of reach for both teams, with the Tigers playing in a must-win match against the Mendi Muruks on Sunday in Lae.
In the second semi-final qualifier, defending champions Hela Wigman will lay their defence on the line as they take on Hagen Eagles at Mendi this Sunday.
A win for both teams will earn them a spot in the semi-finals. Agmark Gurias and Simbu Lions have the week off to preprare.
