Young Pro Boxer Prepares for Oceania Championship

Preparing for a pro boxing bout takes courage and determination along with training.

A young boxer is preparing for a chance to be the Oceania Champion when he takes on an Indonesian opponent in March.

A boxer in training, not an amateur boxer, but an outstanding Professional Boxer in the making. Jamie Pang, has seen his potential, inviting him to train at the Intergraded PNG MMA Gym – Junior Kauka Raka is preparing for a pro boxing bout against an opponent from Indonesia for the Oceania title.

With a total of 107 bouts, of which 98 are amateur bouts and five pro boxing bouts all five knockout wins, Raka is also a Pacific Games Gold Medallist in amateur boxing. Junior has been preparing well for the bout.

PNGs professional boxing legend, Martin Beni, sees big things for the young man from Morobe and West New Britain Province.

His Promoters, PNG Pro Boxing Gym and New Guinea Pro Boxing, have secured a 24th March pro boxing bout at the Lamana Gold Club in Port Moresby.
