Volleyball Associations Urged to Facilitate Level 1 Coaching

By Dinnierose Raiko – EM TV Sport, Port Moresby

PNG Volleyball Referees Commission Chairman, Joey Sena, has urged associations around the country to facilitate Level One coaching training for their referees.

This comes after 11 referees were elevated over the weekend following the training they had received.

Under the International Volleyball Federation, all referees are required to be trained and qualified to referee any volleyball game.

After presenting 11 referees with Level One National Badges, Chairman Sena said associations around the country are yet to implement this training.

Sena encouraged associations to train their referees, and bring volleyball in the country up to an international level.
